Just before confirming his relationship to Cardi B in 2025, New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs had the majority of his six kids within just months of one another

Cardi B has made it “very clear” she is not playing any games with Stefon Diggs.

Before tying himself to the Bodak Yellow rapper, 33, the New England Patriots wide receiver made a name for himself as a player, on and off the field. He reportedly has six kids, all of whom have a different mother. Four of his children were welcomed in 2025 alone.

Despite his reputation, Cardi has put her “love for him above all of that.” An insider has shared, “Cardi has known since day one that Stefon had a reputation as a womanizer and had seen multiple women in the past.”

It seems the football player has turned over a new leaf, according to the source, who told The Sun, “She knows he has been faithful since they made things official and that he’s been transparent about his previous relationships, only seeing her since they committed to each other.”

While Cardi has accepted his past ways, she is still keeping it in mind, making her own terms for their relationship.

“She’s been very clear with Stefon: if he messes up, if another woman comes forward with a baby after they became official and started a family together, she’s done,” the insider added. “She told him plainly that if he cheats or has a child behind her back, it’s over.”

The rapper and her new boyfriend were first spotted together on Valentine’s Day, when the two arrived at a Miami hotel in the middle of the night. However, the two didn’t confirm their relationship until May.

In the midst of the 2025-2026 football season, the couple welcomed their first child together. In November, the rapper took to Instagram to announce she had a healthy baby boy with the NFL star.

Their son was born just two days before a paternity test revealed Stefon was the father of Aileen Lopera’s 7-month-old baby girl.

The social media influencer’s lawyer confirmed the news to People, saying, “We can confirm that Mr. Diggs is the father. And, we are hopeful that he will meaningfully contribute to the child’s life and coparent with our client who has had to do everything on her own thus far.”

The genetic test came months after Aileen filed documents against the football player to determine a parental relationship of their baby. At first, the football player contested the claims, requesting a test be done to ensure he was the father.

If it was determined to be true, Stefon requested joint legal and physical custody. He also asked the courts for joint payment of “reasonable expenses” pertaining to pregnancy and birth expenses, as well as attorney fees.

The lawsuit has since been dismissed.
