UK-headquartered Gorilla Technology Group Inc. has signed binding agreements with Indian data centre operator Yotta Data Services to deploy a large-scale GPU infrastructure in India to support artificial intelligence workloads.
Under the agreement, Gorilla will deploy around 640 high-performance servers powered by more than 5,000 GPUs, built on NVIDIA’s HGX B200 architecture, at Yotta’s Uptime Tier IV NM1 data centre in Navi Mumbai. The deployment will support hyperscale AI compute services for enterprise and government customers.
The companies said the infrastructure rollout is expected to generate more than $500 million in revenue for Gorilla over the next five years under a long-term commercial model.
As part of the partnership, Gorilla will supply the GPU infrastructure, while Yotta will implement and operate the systems according to NVIDIA’s reference architecture. The platform will power a range of AI services, including hyperscale GPU clusters, bare-metal GPUs, virtual machines, serverless GPUs, AI lab workstations and AI model endpoints.
The collaboration comes as India accelerates investments in AI infrastructure through the government-backed IndiaAI Mission, which aims to expand domestic compute capacity and strengthen sovereign AI capabilities. Yotta has been empanelled under the initiative and is also described by NVIDIA as India’s first Reference Platform NVIDIA Cloud Partner.
“India is one of the world’s most important AI growth markets,” said Jay Chandan, chairman and CEO of Gorilla Technology, adding that the partnership positions the company directly within India’s AI infrastructure build-out.
Yotta operates hyperscale data centre campuses in Greater Noida and Navi Mumbai, with the latter expected to scale up to 2 GW capacity. The company’s platform includes sovereign cloud, high-performance GPU compute and managed infrastructure services for enterprises and public sector clients.
“India’s AI ambition will be built on access to serious compute and infrastructure,” said Sunil Gupta, co-founder and CEO of Yotta Data Services. He added that the partnership will help scale GPU deployment in India to meet demand from domestic as well as global customers.
India’s AI market is projected to reach $17 billion by 2027, growing at 25–35% annually, driven by government investments and rising enterprise adoption.
The companies are also exploring a broader deployment roadmap that could include over 5,000 additional servers and potential collaboration on data centre development projects in Thailand, as demand for AI infrastructure expands across Asia.
