At CES 2026, Samsung will showcase the new Freestyle+ projector with AI OptiScreen technology. Built on the strong foundation of the Freestyle, the 2026 iteration leverages AI to extend the entertainment experience.
Ahead of the exhibition, Samsung unveiled its Freestyle+ 2026 projector, highlighting how the new AI OptiScreen intelligently optimizes the screen.
Samsung says its new projector is “designed to deliver a more flexible and personalized entertainment experience.” The Freestyle+ packs smarter AI capabilities, improved brightness, and expanded entertainment features.
These upgrades let users enjoy content more freely, with minimal setup or adjustment.
Samsung’s AI OptiScreen is a major breakthrough
AI OptiScreen is the main highlight of the Freestyle+ projector. It’s Samsung’s in-house screen optimization technology, backed by AI. It automatically adjusts the picture to different spaces to end manual setup efforts.
Samsung’s AI OptiScreen has a plethora of smart features, including 3D Auto Keystone, Real-time Focus, Screen Fit, and Wall Calibration.
3D Auto Keystone fixes distortion when projecting onto uneven or non-flat surfaces, such as corners, curtains, or angled walls.
Real-time Focus adjusts focus in real time as the projector moves or rotates to project clear, stable images without blurring or visual noise.
Screen Fit adjusts the image to match the screen area when used with a compatible projector screen accessory.
Wall Calibration analyzes the color or pattern of the projection surface and minimizes visual distractions.

The Freestyle+ also has built-in access to Samsung’s TV Plus and Gaming Hub services, as well as certified OTT service partners. For audio output, it offers room-filling sound through its built-in 360-degree speaker.
Coming at CES 2026, Samsung Freestyle+ will be released sequentially in the first half of the year.
