Reliance Jio has launched its ‘AI Ready School’ campaign in Kerala, a large-scale digital education initiative aimed at preparing schools and colleges for the era of Artificial Intelligence.

Under this initiative, Jio is implementing an AI Foundation Course across educational institutions to equip teachers and students with practical AI skills. The campaign has already made a significant impact, covering over 755 schools and 104 colleges, and training more than 2,350 teachers and 6,000 students across the state.

Students benefit from a four-week free online ‘Jio AI Classroom’ programme, which is accessible through Jio.com/ai-classroom on a desktop or laptop. Completing the course provides practical experience with AI technology and industry-relevant skills for future careers.

The sessions are designed to help educators and students meaningfully apply AI tools and prompts in academics and daily tasks. Key benefits include hands-on learning with tools such as NotebookLM and other AI platforms, improving productivity in note preparation, assignment writing, coding, project ideation, design thinking, and interview preparation—all of which support personal and professional development.

To encourage further digital skill development, Jio offers all its unlimited 5G users a complimentary ‘Google Gemini Pro Plan’ worth ₹35,100 for 18 months. This plan, activated via the MyJio app, gives users access to advanced AI tools for learning and innovation.

Through the ‘AI Ready School’ campaign, Reliance Jio aims to accelerate digital transformation in education and empower Kerala’s student community. The campaign helps students and teachers become future-ready with essential AI skills, according to a press release.
