In Da Nang, a coastal city in central Viet Nam, local authorities are expanding the use of digital technology in this year’s election process.
AI is being gradually introduced to support various stages of election preparation, including the crucial task of vote counting, in line with regulations. From the start of 2026, the Huong Tra Ward Election Council had applied AI technology to read, scan and cross-check voter lists provided by the police.
