Two individuals lost their lives in separate road accidents in Ballia district, as reported by the local police on Wednesday.
In the Rewati area, an 18-year-old youth, Sahil Yadav, met a tragic end when the motorcycle he was riding crashed into a tree on the Gayghat-Belhari Road on Tuesday evening. Sahil and his companion, Mukesh Sahani, were gravely injured and rushed to the Community Health Centre. Unfortunately, Yadav succumbed to his injuries, and Sahani was subsequently transferred to the district hospital for further medical attention.
In a separate and equally tragic incident, a 52-year-old man, Shyam Bihari Yadav, was killed by an unidentified vehicle in the Narhi area near Korantadih village while returning home on Tuesday afternoon. Police have registered an FIR against the unknown driver, citing rash driving and negligence, following a complaint from the victim’s nephew, Jaipal Yadav.
