A tragic incident unfolded as a Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) jawan, aged 35, lost his life during a training session in Hyderabad. The jawan, Basant Singh, hailed from Dombivli in Maharashtra’s Thane district.
According to district officials, Singh, known for his athletic build and disciplined lifestyle, collapsed after a rigorous training drill on Sunday. The incident has sent shockwaves through his community, with neighbors and colleagues mourning the unforeseen loss.
Singh’s remains were transported back to Dombivli, where a solemn cremation ceremony took place on Monday in the presence of senior police officials, CISF personnel, and local residents. Singh is survived by his wife, parents, and two children, leaving his community grappling with the sudden tragedy.
