A tiger from the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve in Rajasthan’s Sawai Madhopur district ventured out of its natural habitat early Sunday, appearing near a five-star hotel, officials reported.
The big cat was initially captured on a surveillance camera near a farmhouse around 4.30 am and subsequently moved toward the hotel through the Amreshwar area. Prompted by local residents’ reports, forest department staff confirmed the tiger’s presence through pugmarks.
Officials are closely monitoring the tiger’s movement in the nearby nursery area and have formed a special team to oversee safety measures. The forest department issued an advisory urging residents to stay vigilant and report any sightings immediately.
