In a groundbreaking development, deep-tech company NeuroDx has announced the creation of Manas-1, a 400-million-parameter AI brain language model designed to interpret the electrical signals of the human brain. This innovation promises to transform diagnostic practices in neuroscience by facilitating early detection and improving treatment precision for brain disorders.
According to Siddharth Panwar, the founder of NeuroDx.ai, the firm has submitted Manas-1 for governmental evaluation under emerging standards for sovereign AI assets. Approval from the government not only signifies formal recognition but also opens doors to funding that will accelerate its development. Plans are underway to scale Manas-1 to 2 billion parameters in the coming months.
NeuroDx has already achieved remarkable success with Manas-1, demonstrating over 95% accuracy in identifying biomarkers for epilepsy and other mental health conditions. This AI model is a part of the broader effort to construct India’s first foundation-scale physiological state model, aimed at delivering comprehensive health and neurological insights.
