Officials reported that despite the strong shakes, no immediate damage was recorded in the affected areas. In Afghanistan, the epicenter was located at Latitude 36.398 degrees North and Longitude 70.878 degrees East, with a depth of 150 km.
Residents in various cities, such as Baldev Chand in Chandigarh and Ajay Kumar in Punjab, experienced sudden jolts. The brief but noticeable movements made many contemplate evacuation, though the tremors ceased quickly.
