Imphal: Leaders and members of the Manipur unit’s National People’s Party (NPP) on Wednesday paid tributes to party founder and former Lok Sabha speaker PA Sangma on his 10th death anniversary at the party office in Imphal.Lorho S Pfoze, president of NPP’s Manipur unit, said the occasion was to celebrate the life and ideals of a leader who transformed a regional movement into a national political force.
He credited Sangma’s leadership for giving the party a broader vision that extended beyond Manipur and the northeast, positioning it as a significant player across several states. Pfoze said members of the Sangma familycontinue to carry forward the late leader’s legacy.Highlighting the party’s presence in govts across the region, Pfoze reaffirmed the NPP’s commitment to inclusive politics. “There is no caste, no division.
