Ashok Leyland’s electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing plant has started in Lucknow. During this, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh praised Yogi extensively.
He said – I thought Yogi was an expert in politics, but now I know that he is also an expert in economics. You know very well the art of bringing investment and how to make a profit.
Earlier, he inaugurated the factory along with Yogi and Union Minister HD Kumaraswamy. Yogi said – Everyone knows what the condition of the state was before 2017. There was chaos everywhere.
UP was desperate for identity. Today, there is an atmosphere of celebration, not disturbance. No riots have occurred in the last 8 years.
CM said – UP is now a state of festivals. There is no month or week when there isn’t some festival happening here. UP is no longer a sick state. It’s the state with the highest revenue. Before this, Yogi inspected the e-buses from inside the factory.
He also traveled in the bus with Rajnath and Kumaraswamy. After this, everyone came to the stage. A movie about the Hinduja Group and Ashok Leyland’s journey was shown.
The factory is built on approximately 70 acres in Sarojini Nagar. It was constructed in 16 months. The company and government claim that it was completed in record time. It is equipped with modern infrastructure. It has been prepared keeping future needs in mind.
Currently, e-buses, e-travelers, and e-loading vehicles will be manufactured here. This is the state’s first e-bus manufacturing factory. Its production capacity can be easily increased in the future.
According to the company, 2,500 electric buses will be manufactured annually in the initial phase. Later, this will be increased to 5,000.

The groundbreaking of Rs 6 lakh crore will take place next month.
