Lifestyle Trend: Swiggy expands Crew, its concierge-style travel and lifestyle app for premium users You Should Know

Swiggy, the online food and grocery delivery major, is steadily expanding beyond its core business with Crew, travel & lifestyle concierge service it piloted a few months ago.

Rohit Kapoor, CEO of Food Delivery at Swiggy, took to LinkedIn to share an update on the app’s progress, noting how users are increasingly leveraging Crew to simplify both everyday errands and high-end experiences. The service, which began as a pilot, has now expanded to Bengaluru, Mumbai and the NCR region.

From securing hard-to-get restaurant reservations and curating end-to-end travel itineraries to organising birthday parties, gifts, Aadhaar updates and airport transfers, Crew aims to function as an all-in-one concierge for modern urban consumers.

Kapoor’s post also points to a larger consumer shift: India’s time-conscious urban professionals are showing growing appetite for concierge-style services that blend AI-driven efficiency with the human touch. As convenience and experience increasingly take precedence over effort, Crew appears well-positioned to tap into this evolving lifestyle segment. 

Recently, Phani Kishan Addepalli, Co Founder, Swiggy, also took it to linkedin and posted about CREW highlighting it as Swiggy’s boldest step yet towards becoming the “operating system” for modern living, CREW is already redefining convenience for early users across India.
