It’s definitely not working for me

While I’m only one person experiencing Spotify issues, I can definitely say that it’s not working for me. I tried to load music and podcasts and neither is working.

If you’re one of the lucky people still able to play their content, don’t pause or stop, as you might not be able to load it up again.

Spiking even harder

This potential outage is quickly on the verge of losing the “potential” moniker, as it’s now exploded to more than 13,000 reports on Down Detector. For an outage to reach that many reports in a matter of a few minutes is a very clear sign that something is happening with Spotify that’s preventing thousands of people from gaining access to the music streamer.

Reports coming in fast

What started with a few hundred reports has since exploded to more than 3,000. It’s clear that a large portion of Spotify’s massive listener base is experiencing some kind of problem with the service, though it’s far too early in the outage to say for sure what is happening.
