The Vice Chancellor of Home Economics University, Prof. Dr. Zaib-un-Nisa, formally inaugurated the camp and appreciated the Incharge Kanwal wellness center & Head of Department, Nutrition and Health Promotion, Dr. Aiza Qamar, for this meaningful initiative.
The health camp was organized by Dr. Safeena Amjab (Lecturer & Consultant Nutritionist) and Ms. Saiba Ahmed (Student Counselor & Psychologist) and Supervised by our faculty member Ms.Shiza Rauf and Ms.Fatima Amin with support from two pharmaceutical companies: Route2Health (BMI assessment) and AGPR Pharmaceuticals (BMD screening). Services included blood pressure and blood sugar testing through glucometers, along with psychological and nutritional counseling and assessments.
A seminar on “Healing Mind & Healthy Lives” was also successfully conducted, featuring insightful sessions by guest Nutritionist “Ms.Saman Ishtiaq “& Ms Sara Zaib Mufti and Psychologist speakers “Ms.Wajeeha Iftikhar”
