Maharashtra is set to hold the two-day international medical conference ‘PULSE’ from March 27, with the objective of positioning the state as a global leader in healthcare and medical wellness tourism, announced Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
The conference will attract over 2,900 medical experts from around the world. During a review meeting at Varsha, the CM emphasized the importance of organizing the event on a grand scale to bolster Maharashtra’s brand in the medical wellness sector, highlighting its potential due to a growing preference for wellness therapies. He stressed integrating AYUSH systems into wellness projects and urged significant startup participation at the conference.
With expected participation from WHO, UNESCO officials, and notable global academics, discussions will explore advanced research, the future of medical education, digital health, and AI. The conference aims to draw global healthcare investments, enhance rural infrastructure, and promote the development of innovative mental health treatments and medical tourism.
