Mind your language This year’s Mother Tongues Festival will run over the weekend of February 20-21 and will coincide with International Mother Language Day. Based in Red Rua and The Civic in Tallaght, Dublin 24, this year’s theme is The Power of Story and will delve into storytelling as a way of learning, sharing and passing on language. Families are very much in focus, with theatre and story workshops, shadow puppet shows and an opening debate on storytelling to foster inclusion with parents, children and educators.
