Health Update: Health Update: Midland Baptist Crisis Center hosts Senior Health and Wellness Day – What Experts Say– What Experts Say.

MIDLAND, Texas (KOSA) – The Midland Baptist Crisis Center has something special planned for seniors tomorrow.

The first Wednesday of every month is already set aside for seniors 60 and over, but tomorrow they’re adding a Wellness Day for the first 50 people who show up.

The Midland Health Department will be there offering flu and pneumonia vaccines plus blood pressure checks.

HEB is also providing first aid kits that seniors can take home with them.

The food pantry and clothing area will be open tomorrow too, so it’s a special day for seniors to get services all in one place.

Regular services

The Crisis Center’s food pantry and clothing area is open every week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to noon.

But tomorrow’s event is specifically designed for seniors 60 and over, and those first aid kits from HEB are only available for the first 50 attendees.
