Health Update: Health Update: Jaisohn Center to celebrate grand opening of Community Wellness Plaza in Upper Gwynedd Saturday – What Experts Say– What Experts Say.

$10M hub brings health, wellness, and social services under one roof

A major new community resource in Upper Gwynedd will take center stage this weekend as the Jaisohn Center hosts the official grand opening of its Community Wellness Plaza.

The ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, March 28 at 11 a.m. at 1180 Welsh Road, across from the shopping center with ReStore North Wales, where the organization recently unveiled its $10 million facility designed as a “one-stop hub” for health care, wellness, and human services.

The event will feature a ribbon cutting, cultural performances, and tours of the new space, along with remarks from a slate of federal, state, and local officials.

The plaza builds on the Jaisohn Center’s decades-long mission by consolidating a wide range of services in one location, including primary care, mental health counseling, home health support, insurance assistance, and community navigation. The model is aimed at improving access and coordination of care, particularly for Asian American and Pacific Islander communities and other underserved populations across the region.

Organizers say the new facility was designed with accessibility and cultural responsiveness in mind, creating a welcoming environment for seniors and families seeking care. Additional services, including expanded specialty care, are expected to be added in the future as the center continues to grow.

The grand opening program is expected to run through about 12:30 p.m., marking a milestone moment for the organization as it formally introduces the new plaza to the community.
