Raja Iqbal Singh, Mayor of Delhi, inaugurated the summit and launched the Health Chaupal initiative aimed at encouraging community dialogue on preventive health and wellness awareness.

Growing attention to preventive healthcare and mental well-being brought policymakers, medical professionals, and wellness experts together in New Delhi for the Pulse of Positivity Health and Wellness Summit 2026.
The one day summit, organised by Pulse of Positivity at Le Méridien in New Delhi, created a platform for discussions on key health priorities shaping India’s evolving healthcare landscape. Policymakers, healthcare practitioners, academicians, and wellness experts participated in the sessions focusing on public awareness and preventive health.

The inaugural session was attended by Raja Iqbal Singh, Mayor of Delhi, who joined the gathering as the chief guest. During the session, the Health Chaupal initiative was introduced as a community driven platform designed to encourage dialogue around health awareness, preventive practices, and public participation in wellness initiatives.
Throughout the day, speakers addressed a range of issues including mental health awareness, lifestyle diseases, preventive healthcare, women’s health, and the importance of community engagement in promoting well-being.

The first session of the summit focused on mental health and emotional well-being, highlighting the growing recognition of psychological health as an essential part of overall wellness. Experts discussed the need to integrate mental health awareness into broader healthcare discussions and public health initiatives.
Another session addressed lifestyle diseases and preventive healthcare, examining the increasing prevalence of lifestyle related conditions and the importance of everyday habits that contribute to long term health.

A dedicated session on women’s health, maternal care, and child wellness discussed the need for accessible healthcare systems and increased awareness of maternal and early childhood health needs.
Raja Iqbal Singh, Mayor of Delhi, said, “Maintaining balance in life and remaining content and happy are essential for holistic human wellness. Today it is important for us to remind ourselves of these simple yet powerful principles of living a healthy life. Health and wellness summits like this should be organised regularly as they provide platforms for people to come together, reflect on their well being and encourage healthier lifestyles.”

The summit concluded with a valedictory session attended by Tushar Chauhan, who secured All India Rank 216 in the Civil Services Examination 2025, along with other speakers who reflected on the day’s discussions.
Through the exchange of ideas and perspectives, the summit highlighted the importance of preventive healthcare, mental well-being, and public awareness as essential components in building a healthier society.
