Health Update: Health Update: Five-in-one wellness hub opens in Southport – What Experts Say– What Experts Say.
A new wellness hub is bringing fresh energy to the north side of the river, offering residents a unique approach to health, recovery and fitness all under one roof.
The recently opened Hands-On Health and Wellness Centre at Sunwave (46 Bendigo Road) in Southport is already creating excitement in the community with its five solutions in one space concept – combining a fun gym, Pilates, rehabilitation services, aqua classes and physiotherapy.
The centre caters for a wide range of needs for people recovering from injuries or surgery to those simply looking for a fun way to stay active.
It’s headed by musculoskeletal physiotherapist Leigh Ingle, who leads a dynamic team of specialists focused on helping people move better, recover from injuries and build strength in a supportive environment.
The philosophy behind the centre is simple: the body tells a story through movement. By carefully assessing how a person moves, therapists are able to develop personalised programmes that support healing and improve overall wellbeing.
“At Hands-On Health and Wellness Centre, we don’t just train bodies, we listen to them,” said Leigh.
“Every movement tells a story, and through mapping assessments and personalised training, we help people understand how their bodies move, heal and grow stronger.”
