CODA Pharmacy is staging its second free Community Health & Wellness Event in The Beacon, Eastbourne on Saturday (March 14) from 10am until 2pm.

Everyone is welcome to come along to Gather – the community area in the shopping centre – and receive expert advice from Chris Trinh and Colin Dang, the two Coda pharmacists.

There will also be free blood pressure and BMI checks (body mass index) available, plus local healthcare professionals who will be offering their services on the day.

– Dental advice from Beatty Dental, based at Langney Point

– Footcare support from Sussex Footcare, situated in Crown Street, Old Town

– Nutrition & cellular health advice from Lynne Mathews, Holistic Health Eastbourne

– Mental health support from Emma Disney, My Life Me

– Chiropractic care advice from Lushington Chiropractic in Lushington Road

– Pet health checks & nail clippings from Rosebury Vets, in Hampden Park

– First Aid from the St John Ambulance team

– Home and live in care advice from Bluebird Care Eastbourne and Wealden

– Musculoskeletal (MSK) support from Alice Chen

Pharmacist Chris Trinh said: “This is an open invitation for people to come and meet us on Saturday in The Beacon, and we are thrilled to have such a wide range of experts coming along to support us.

“It will be an extremely relaxed atmosphere, and we will do whatever we can to help.

A warm welcome and wise advice is guaranteed.

“Coda is committed to playing a central role in our communities, and this is one example of us reaching out to the people of Eastbourne and surrounding areas.”

Coda Pharmacy – based on the Westham Business Park – was launched back in 2023 and ran its first Community Health & Wellness Event in The Beacon last October.

It offers a free NHS Prescription Service as well as help with weight loss, sexual support, hair loss and a host of other services.

Pharmacist Colin Dang said: “October’s event was an amazing day, dedicated to promoting wellness and healthy living.

“We were honoured to welcome Eastbourne’s Mayor, Margaret Bannister, who officially opened the event and even took part by having a free health check herself.”

You can just turn up on the day – there is no need to book.
