Multi-award-winning DJ, Black Coffee (real name Nkosinathi Maphumulo) turned 50 on March 11, and to mark this special occasion, his girlfriend Victoria Gonzalez penned a sweet message for him on social media.

The Venezuelan model and influencer took to Instagram to post several pictures, including private moments of her and her partner relaxing on the couch watching TV and memories from their international travels.

She captioned the post: “Happy birthday to my love and my best friend . Ps: My favourite part of life is watching you sleep.”

He replied in the comments section: “My love , thank you so much, for everything .”

The birthday celebrations continued with a candlelight dinner with close friends and family, as seen on both of their Instagram Stories.

In 2019, the pair sparked dating rumours after Coffee’s divorce from his ex-wife, Enhle-Mbali Mlotshwa; however, it wasn’t until 2023 that they confirmed their relationship.

In addition, the lovebirds became more public about their relationship in 2025 as they showed each other off on social media, and he was seen commenting on most of Gonzalez’s posts.

In February, the model celebrated her 29th birthday, and Coffee shared a doting post to celebrate her birthday.

“Happy Birthday, my forever love”, he captioned the post. In the comments section, Gonzalez responded: “I love you more”.

The post was accompanied by a series of pictures, mostly of Gonzalez, while another picture shows the couple’s matching heart tattoos on their hands with the “21.03.2019” at the top.

In 2019, the DJ announced his separation from his longtime partner. Mlotshwa cited infidelity issues, accusing her ex of cheating with multiple women during their marriage.

The six-year divorce battle, which concluded with a ruling in 2025, saw the court validate the customary marriage to Coffee as legally binding and in community of property, and this decision nullified his claim of an antenuptial contract. 

Coffee was ordered to pay spousal maintenance and child support every month.
