As the chaotic awards season spirit continues, Oscars hype is well and truly ramping up with the 98th annual Academy Awards almost here.
As we eagerly wait for all the share-worthy wins and snubs on March 15, we have some deliciously outrageous Oscars swag bag items to keep us occupied in the meantime. Great news for nosy people like us!
From bucket-list travel destinations to a free face-lift, the 2026 ‘Everyone Wins’ swag bag is filled, once again, with some of the craziest consolation prizes we’ve ever seen. Even if nominated stars don’t walk away with an Oscar, they still win big thanks to a gift bag curated by entertainment marketing company Distinctive Assets.

Who receives an Oscar’s swag bag?
The items in this swag bag are part of the ‘Everyone Wins’ gift bag given to Oscar nominees. This is supplied and curated by the LA-based marketing company Distinctive Assets, as it was in 2025. Since these aren’t official gifts of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences, there is almost no boundary to the range of offerings available.
However, it’s Lash Fary, Distinctive Assets’ founder, who ultimately decides who receives these prizes, as not every nominee will walk away with a gift. For the company’s 24th year, these swag bags will only be handed out to the top 25 nominees from the acting and directing categories.
Instead of receiving a cash consolation prize, those walking away without a golden trophy in hand have a range of luxury prizes to choose from, so they certainly won’t be empty handed!
This year, the options will range from a $9M private villa stay in Costa Rica to luxury cannabis products and inexpensive snacks, as Lash Fary revealed on The Morning Show last week.

Travel and Luxury
A stand-out travel option available is the Essence of Dreams private luxury villa in Costa Rica, valued at $9M with a concierge, chef, and driver.
Other travel options include a $65k trip to Ibiza from Can Nemo with room for 16 friends to tag along, an arctic stay in Finnish Lapland, and wellness retreats in Southern California and Santani, Sri Lanka.
Beauty and Wellness
A variety of luxury skincare products are available from Danucera and INSTYTUTUM, as well as toner from Glow Recipe and SPF sunscreen primer from Supregoop!.
Fashion and Home
The only fashion items on the list is HUHA’s body-supportive underwear and Asia Luggage’s Kabuki-inspired Japanese luggage.
However, there are also home items like CBespoke’s interior design service and GROHE‘s luxury shower head. So, if any celebs’ homes need a make-over, they may be in luck!
Books, Tech, and More
If they haven’t already had they photo taken enough, nominees can win a portrait photography experience with LIGHT MVMNT STUDIO.

The food and drink gift items are on the lower end of the spending range, with dark chocolate coconut almond bites from SkinnyDipped and Posh Pretzels products being offered alongside Tea Forté’s luxury tea tasting assortment and TrüFrü’s freeze-dried chocolate covered fruit.
