While you’re keeping your eye on the tennis ball during Indian Wells matches, make sure to look around — you never know when a celebrity might be sitting near you.

The BNP Paribas Open has long attracted Hollywood elite to the desert, and there’s no doubt many will return this year. The tournament is in session now through Sunday, March 15, at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden.

During Taste of Tennis, which showcased delicious bites from the valley’s most celebrated chefs on Monday, March 3, at the Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Resort & Villas, attendees were treated to a visit from “Sinners” star Omar Benson Miller. But don’t worry, no vampires were in attendance.

Other celebrities who have attended the tournament in past years include Academy Award winner Charlize Theron, actors Ben Stiller and wife Christine Taylor, Will Ferrell, boxer Mike Tyson and philanthropist Bill Gates.

But what fans should really look out for is which power couples will be on the grounds. Actors Zendaya and Tom Holland got onlookers excited when they made their way to the tournament in 2024 — which coincided with the actress’ tennis love triangle film “Challengers” — and “Marty Supreme” Oscar nominee Timothée Chalamet and beau Kylie Jenner were spotted getting cozy in the stands in 2025.

Who could surprise fans this year? Perhaps a sighting from Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce? That wouldn’t be the first time those two were spotted in the desert — they were seen enjoying their friends perform at the 2024 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

Whatever happens, you can count on The Desert Sun to keep you updated on the latest celebrity sightings.
