Is Ray J making the most of his last years after a recent health diagnosis?

American singer and media personality, Ray J (real name William Ray Norwood Jr.), sparked a wave of concern after he was seen performing on Valentine’s Day with what looked like blood coming out of his eyes and a monitor on his chest.

The “One Wish” hit singer’s video went viral on social media after a video compilation was circulated, and the singer is seen performing with blood streaming down his face.

In another video, Ray J is seen wearing black sunglasses as he performed, and blood could be seen visibly dripping down from one eye.

He was later shown removing his orange top, which revealed what appeared to be a heart monitor.

This concerning performance comes after he candidly shared his health issues in January.

The reality TV star took to Instagram to update his fans about his health struggles and revealed that he nearly died after he was hospitalised with severe pneumonia.

In the video update, he shared that his “heart is only beating like twenty-five percent.”

In the same month, during a livestream, which was later shared on X, he said that doctors had informed him he did not have long to live, claiming that his heart had become “black” as a result of alcohol and drug abuse.

He further added that “2027 is a wrap” for him due to his health issues.

Ahead of his Valentine’s Day performance, Ray J took to Facebook to share that he is risking his health for this concert.

He wrote on the caption: “I’m putting my life on the line for this show!!”

Despite his shocking health update, fans are confused about whether his actions are genuine or merely an attempt to draw attention to himself.

“Did that really happen to him on stage or he was faking it? Now I’m confused,” a fan wrote.

“Blood coming out of his eye during a performance? Either this is marketing genius or something is seriously wrong,” another fan commented.

Another fan added: “If his heart was only working at 25% he wouldn’t have the strength to be out there on a stage.”
