The Love Island star said she ‘covered up’ her footballer ex Brad Dack’s behaviour for ten years

Olivia Attwood has taken to Instagram with a fiery statement to address the ‘humiliation’ she is going through amid the breakdown of her relationship with Brad Dack. The pair shocked fans when they announced their split in January this year, after ten years together.

Olivia and Brad were believed to have tied the knot in 2023, but recent sources now claim the marriage was never legally binding. The Love Island star and Gillingham FC attacking midfielder reportedly split after Brad was unfaithful to her on a handful of occasions with Olivia taking to Instagram on Tuesday evening to confirm these rumours.

The 34-year-old shared a statement to her Instagram Story, which read: “I have stood by Brad for the last ten years during which he lied & cheated on me multiple times. The breakdown of our relationship is because of this.

“I was in love with him and the potential I saw in him and wanted always to help him try to be the best version of himself – as I did for 10 years -covering up. Lying to my family and friends. Arranging therapy. Believing the grovelling apologies.

“I of course now feel like a f****** idiot. (Especially as more things come to the surface) I never wanted to say any of this.. I find the whole situation utterly humiliating.”

She added: “But some of the disgusting things written about me in the last few weeks just blow my mind – and of course sadly it’s always fellow females doing the writing.

“This January when I was confronted at the screening of one my shows by someone reporting to me yet another night he had gone back with a random girl – I decided it was time to finally leave.”

She concluded her statement by confirming that she is she is looking for love again and that her career is not going anywhere despite what might have been said.

She added: “I’m not losing my job, I’m not pulling the wool over any one eyes. Yes im dating.

“Yes I’m getting up every single day even when I have cried all night to film the shows I love filming, record my podcast, record my radio show, shoot campaigns. and somewhere in there TRY to move on.

Olivia has been spotted getting cosy with long time pal Pete Wicks after they were reportedly spotted sharing a kiss in a London bar last month.

The pair were spotted out together in Soho, London, on Friday night, in a dimly-lit bar named Flute.

Olivia and Pete have denied rumours up until now that they are anything more than friends; however, their public kiss, in front of their friends, proves otherwise.

Despite this, the 37-year-old podcaster recently said on his podcast Staying Relevant, that he was still single. He asked podcast guest Grime Gran: “I am 37 and still single, what kind of woman should I be with?” She responded: “You want someone stable.”

Meanwhile, Brad also appears to have moved on with reports that he has reignited his romance with his ex-girlfriend, Emily Rose Moloney, whom he reportedly dated briefly before reuniting with Olivia in 2017.
