As lovers across South Africa celebrated Valentine’s Day, reality TV star Nonku Williams took to Instagram to share a heartfelt tribute to her partner, businessman and cattle farmer Lungani Rammaledi.
However, her post also sparked controversy when she rebuked a fan for negative comments regarding their relationship.
On Valentine’s Day, the former “Real Housewives of Durban” cast member shared a touching post featuring a video and photographs of the couple at a photoshoot, both dressed in elegant black formal attire.
The post was accompanied by voice notes in which they expressed their love for each other.
“My love, on this Valentine’s Day, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for the love we have built. You are my safe haven, my partner in every sense. Your love is my shelter, my inspiration, and my joy. Here’s to us, to our laughter, adventures, and quiet moments.
“I love you more with each passing day,” Williams wrote in her tribute.
Rammaledi also shared his feelings, stating, “Nonku Williams, on this Valentine’s Day, I just want to make a promise to you that I love you and I will always love you. Every day, every hour, minute, and second, I think about you.
“I can’t wait to wake up every single day next to you. And I can’t wait to have those moments with you. Nothing will come between us. You are my wife, and I want to settle down with you. I love you.”
While many fans wished the couple well, one Instagram follower, Thabsile Gumede (@gumedethabsile5), made a critical comment, saying, “Until the next man.”
Williams responded firmly, stating, “Sathane phuma kimi.” (Get behind me, Satan).
Williams introduced Rammaledi as her new boyfriend in late 2025, and they have since shared various romantic moments on social media, including a cooking video in November.
However, the couple faced scrutiny earlier this month when local blogs alleged that Rammaledi had previously dated a woman named Sne, Slee Ndlovu’s sister.
Ndlovu is a former “RHOD” cast member and ex-friend of Williams.
In response to the controversy, Rammaledi took to Instagram to clarify his relationship status, stating, “Lungani Rammaledi is not married, and he was never married to his ex-girlfriend (Sne). Nonku Williams is not the reason for Lungani Rammaledi to separate from his ex-girlfriend (Sne), and the ex-girlfriend knows it.”
