Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have reached a settlement and are officially divorced, after 19 years of marriage.
The former couple finalized their divorce in a Nashville court on Tuesday, according to documents obtained by PEOPLE. Per the settlement, Kidman’s home will be the primary residence of the couple’s two daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14. Urban was granted every other weekend with the children, 59 days out of the year to Kidman’s 306. Both parents have joint responsibility for major decisions regarding their daughters’ lives.
Both Urban and Kidman waived child and spousal support rights, neither party received alimony and they are each responsible for their own legal fees and expenses.
Entertainment Weekly has reached out to representatives for Kidman and Urban for comment.

Per court documents obtained by PEOPLE, both Kidman and Urban are required to “behave with each other and each child so as to provide a loving, stable, consistent and nurturing relationship with the child even though they are divorced.”
The agreement states, “They will not speak badly of each other or the members of the family of the other parent. They will encourage each child to continue to love the other parent and be comfortable in both families.”
In September, news broke that the Oscar-winning actress and country music star were separated and had been living apart since the start of summer.

At the time, a source told PEOPLE. “[Kidman] didn’t want this. She has been fighting to save the marriage.” The source also said that Kidman’s younger sister, Antonia Kidman, “has been a rock and the entire Kidman family has come together to support one another.” Kidman officially filed for divorce on Sep. 30, 2025, citing irreconcilable differences.

The Australian couple tied the knot in June 2006, after meeting the year prior at the G’Day USA gala in Los Angeles. They share the two aforementioned daughters. Kidman was previously married to her Days of Thunder costar Tom Cruise from 1990 to 2001. The former couple shares two children, Bella and Connor.
