It’s been a few months now since the last series of Married At First Sight UK came to an end, but one of the grooms is set to return to our screens very soon.
The cast of Celebrity Ex on the Beach, which premieres at the end of the month, was recently revealed and it features the likes of Jedward’s John Grimes, Love Island legend Toby Aromolaran and TOWIE star Dani Imbert.
It’s been reported that Reiss Boyce, the MAFS UK 2025 groom who dated Dani before he rose to fame himself, is set to appear on the show as her ex and it turns out his on-screen wife Leisha Lightbody almost joined him.

According to reports, Leisha was cut from the show just 24 hours before she flew out to film after Reiss was voted off the show.
‘Leisha was all set to fly out to Tenerife to join the Ex on the Beach line-up. She had been gearing herself up for it for weeks and was in hiding back in the UK,’ a TV insider told The Sun.
‘Leisha was set to surprise ex MAFS husband Reiss and to see if there was any unfinished business between them. But things didn’t go to plan and Reiss was booted out of the villa just days after his arrival.’

They added, ‘He was voted out and sent home which in the end meant that bosses didn’t see the point of putting Leisha into the villa.
‘Leisha going in was only supposed to happen if Reiss was still on the show and sadly she was dropped just 24 hours before she was supposed to fly out.
‘Understandably she was upset that she wasn’t going in but she knew that may be the case when she signed up.’

Things didn’t work out for Leisha and Reiss during their experiment, but since then she was pictured kissing Love Island winner Jack Fincham and sparked rumours she was dating a footballer.
It’s thought that Reiss is still single, but we’ll have to wait and see what happens when he appears on CEOTB.
