The British Academy Film Awards (BAFTAs) took place at London’s Royal Festival Hall yesterday (22 February) and film lovers around the world tuned in to see which Hollywood A-listers would be sweeping up prizes.

Timothée Chalamet was one of the many stars in attendance, having been nominated in the best leading actor category for his performance in Marty Supreme.

While the A24 sports drama received an impressive 11 nominations this year, including for best film, best director, best original screenplay and best cinematography, Chalamet, as well as his fellow cast and crew members, failed to take home any wins.

Regardless, it’s clear he and his partner of three years, Kylie Jenner, enjoyed themselves as they could be seen sitting together in the audience.

The Traitors US host, Alan Cumming, hosted the evening and, at one point, decided to make quite the suggestive joke to Jenner.

As he made his way through the celeb-packed audience, handing out ‘very British snacks’, Cumming offered Chalamet a packet of Scampi Fries while Jenner received a Jammie Dodger.

“Kylie, have you ever had your gums around a giant Jammie Dodger?” he asked her before offering her the biscuit.

Jenner took a moment before she said no, accepting the snack and saying: “Thank you.”

Fans have since flocked to social media to share their reactions to the exchange, with one X user writing: “The concept of Kylie Jenner discovering a Jammie Dodger.”

“The concept of Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner having a giant jammy dodger at the BAFTAs,” quipped a second as a third echoed: “The concept of Kylie Jenner eating scampi fries, I love the BAFTAs.”

A fourth chimed in: “Omg giving Timothee Chalamet and Kylie Jenner, Scampi fries and Jammy Dodgers, they have no idea what he’s giving them.”

“She looks like she has a sense of humour and doesn’t care,” chirped another.

And a final X user praised: “Thank you to Alan Cumming for getting Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner to experience the full cultural impact of Scampi Fries and Jammie Dodgers at the BAFTAs.”

While Marty Supreme didn’t do too well last night, it has received nine nominations for the upcoming Academy Awards next month (15 March), including in the Best Picture, Best Actor and Best Director categories.

Chalamet bagged Best Actor at the Critcs Choice Awards back in January and a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy that same month.
