Kelly Clarkson is taking airport attire to a whole new level.
On March 14, fans got to see the singer and TV host embrace her southern roots as a featured performer at RodeoHouston. Making her first appearance at the eventsince2004, Kelly had the audience going wild when she took the stage at NRG Stadium in an outfit that showed off her superstar status. As she shone while wearing a black bedazzled jumpsuit, she sang some of her biggest hits, like “Since U Been Gone,” “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You),” and “Breakaway.”
While The Kelly Clarkson Show host’s moment at the rodeo was one to remember, she took the rodeo with her in a way no one would’ve expected. As she shared in a TikTok and Instagram video, she didn’t have time to change outfits before her flight back home to New York City. As a result, she wore her jumpsuit through security.
“Just casually leaving the Houston Rodeo for my flight,” she said in the clip. “I couldn’t change in the car, because it was, well, daylight. So, I’m just casually coming in, in my David Bowie number. Just gonna check in. I wanna fly the whole flight like this. Act like I’m in sweats, you know? Just be like, ‘Oh, hey, what’s up?’”
People couldn’t help but voice how much they adored her travel look.
