Just one day after producers behind the Real Housewives of New York reunion series gave Jill Zarin the boot, another Housewife from the Big Apple has reportedly been tapped as her replacement.

According to Page Six, Dorinda Medley is stepping up in place of Zarin, 62.

Zarin was unceremoniously fired from the new series — which has yet to begin filming — after remarks she made following Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime performance.

“In light of recent public comments made by Jill Zarin, Blink49 Studios has decided not to move forward with her involvement in The Golden Life,” the production company behind the upcoming E! series announced in a statement to Variety on Tuesday, February 10. “We remain committed to delivering the series in line with our company standards and values.”

The move was in response to backlash Zarin received after sharing her controversial opinions about the Puerto Rican star’s performance on February 8.

“We all agree — it was the worst halftime show ever. It’s 250 years that we’re celebrating right now in the United States, and I just don’t think it was appropriate to have it in Spanish,” the former TV personality said in a since-deleted Instagram video. “I think it was a political statement, and I’m not taking a side one way or the other. I just do. I think it was an ICE thing.”

Zarin exclusively told In Touch following her firing, “They didn’t even give me a chance.”

“I took it down right away,” she added of the video. “People make mistakes. I’m human.”
