Ken Jennings dropped a bombshell about what his self-care is like … and he’s recruiting the Jeopardy! audience for some help.
The TV host keeps a good rapport with those attending tapings of the hit show, as his Instagram often indicates. And Ken loves to interact with the audience by asking them questions in between rounds.
So, when Jeopardy!’s official Instagram caught Ken taking fan questions during a recent taping of the quiz show, they clocked him being asked whether he has a skincare routine. And much to the surprise of those watching, he admitted he needs a bit of assistance in this area of his life.
“I would say I have the skincare routine of all middle-aged white men—which is I don’t have a skincare routine,” he stated in the snippet. “I put on lotion when I’m itchy. Is that … is that a thing? And sometimes Chapstick, just to, you know, to treat myself a little bit. I don’t know. I’m going to need actually some—are there any influencers here, who want to tell me what I’m doing wrong?”
Naturally, the audience reacted to Ken’s response, reminding him to at least wear a little sunblock on his face. To that, he corrected his stance on a facial regimen, saying that’s the only thing he actually does to keep his skin healthy.
“OK, I do wear [sunscreen],” he added. “I am very careful about my skin. Yes, I burn like this. It’s my Scotch-Irish heritage, I guess. So, I have to be pretty careful about the sun.”
Upon seeing Ken’s shocking reveal about what he does for his skin, folks had a lot to say.
“Ken hasn’t aged ONE BIT & STILL looks good even on the Alex Trebek Stage, am I right?” one person commented. “We love an SPF king!” another agreed. “I love seeing Ken being sociable and relatable ,” a different follower added.
Well, this is definitely something we didn’t expect to learn about Ken … and if he wants to name-drop the exact sunscreen he uses, we’d love to know more about it!
