Despite Justin Timberlake’s DWI arrest in 2024, he later agreed to a $500 fine, 25 hours of community service, and a 90-day license suspension. The videos are going viral, and it’s allegedly put another strain on his and Jessica Biel’s marriage.

“Rumors have been swirling for ages that Justin and Jessica’s marriage could be headed for trouble,” an insider told Daily Mail. “His last tour was a near disaster, and his acting career has waned, while Jessica is working on one project after another as an actress and producer.”

“There’s only so much she can put up with. And Justin’s almost pushed her to the edge,” the insider added. “Justin and Jessica have had a bumpy marriage, and spending time together hasn’t always been at the forefront for them – which obviously puts a strain on a relationship.”

This, coupled with the new report from People, is showing there may be trouble afoot. Insiders told People that Biel is “not happy” about renewed attention on Timberlake’s June 2024 arrest after the videos were released. “It obviously doesn’t portray him in the best light,” the insider said. “There’s a reason they pushed back on the footage being released.”

Now, as for Timberlake and the Candy star, they have been together since 2007. They were together for multiple years before calling it quits in 2011, but months later, they confirmed they got engaged.

By the following year, in 2012, they got married in southern Italy. They have since welcomed two children named Silas, born in April 2015, and Phineas, born around Jan 2021.

Despite the divorce rumors, Biel seemingly recently shut them down.

During the E! Live from the Red Carpet at the 2026 Critics Choice Awards, she is his “number one fan. Or I’m up there with his number one fans…He’s so amazing live there’s no one like him who can perform like him who sings like him he just brings so much joy and I don’t care if I look like a crazy person, I’m gonna dance my butt off for two and a half hours.”

Now, Carla Horvath, a public relations expert, exclusively told SheKnows in 2024 that she believed Biel would be working to potentially spin the story in a positive light for them.

“Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake have faced numerous public challenges, including cheating scandals and controversies. Jessica has consistently stood by Justin, and she may seek to manage any future issues strategically,” she said. “By potentially framing personal struggles… within a narrative of redemption and resilience, she could shape a story that not only supports her husband but also positions herself favorably in the public eye.”
