Adam Peaty and Holly Ramsay celebrated their wedding reception at lavish Georgian Manor Kin House with a secret stage, private pool and 10-acre garden
Adam Peaty and Holly Ramsay are set to host their wedding reception at the opulent Georgian Manor, Kin House, following their nuptials at Bath Abbey today.
The venue is replete with a hidden stage, a private swimming pool, a sprawling 10-acre garden, and even a dressing room equipped with hair-washing stations and a barber on the top floor for “pre-party preparations”.
After last year’s engagement, triple Olympic gold medallist swimmer Peaty exchanged vows with Ramsay at Bath Abbey today (December 27).
Among the celebrity guests are the Beckhams, Dragons’ Den star Sara Davies, who appeared on Strictly Come Dancing alongside Gordon Ramsay’s daughter, Tilly, and television news presenter Dan Walker.
Earlier today, the bride-to-be was seen departing from the rural retreat in a blacked-out Rolls Royce en route to Bath Abbey, reports the Mirror.
Following the ceremony, guests will reconvene at Kin House to continue the festivities in honour of the newlyweds.
It appears the celebrations are set to extend into the wee hours, as the manor’s website mentions their bar remaining open until late.
The site states: “Guests staying with us are welcome to carry on the party in Fitz Bar, which is open until the early hours.”
To alleviate any potential post-celebration headaches, the wedding party can partake in a private yoga session or enjoy a refreshing dip in the venue’s new swimming pool.
The website states: “We can organise a range of classes, therapies and activities to keep you busy while you’re with us. Keep a clear head with a yoga class on the morning of your wedding, have a restorative massage, or take on your friends in a spot of croquet, boules or kubb.”
The site goes on to explain: “The house has 12 bedrooms sleeping 24, which are exclusively available for you and your guests. They range from Biggest – with freestanding bathtubs overlooking the gardens – to Little. Each one comes with help-yourself mini bars featuring a range of treats and drinks, fluffy robes and Verden products in the bathroom.
“Whether you’re 20 or 200, there are lots of lovely spots to get married in the house and around the grounds.”
The pair’s nuptial arrangements have captured newspaper attention in recent weeks, with a family dispute on Peaty’s side leading to him barring all relatives except one from attending the service.
Considering the enormous interest surrounding the ceremony and the famous guests in attendance, there was unsurprisingly a considerable press contingent gathered outside the abbey as the bride arrived on Sunday, flanked by robust security measures.
Nevertheless, whilst most journalists had been stationed in a designated zone at the venue’s front, there were some unsavoury scenes when other paparazzi photographers reportedly charged from a back entrance. Allegedly, the group attempted to intercept Ramsay and her father’s arrival, leading to clashes with security staff outside the abbey.
As bodyguards created a protective barrier around the Ramsays, a scuffle reportedly broke out in a narrow passage next to the venue. It’s believed that the bride and the renowned Hell’s Kitchen chef found themselves caught up in the ensuing chaos.
Once the turmoil subsided, Adam and Holly exchanged vows and emerged from Bath Abbey radiating joy.
Adam, 30, and Holly, 25, initially crossed paths on the BBC show Strictly Come Dancing. Adam participated in the 2021 series, while Holly’s sister, Tilly Ramsay, was also a contestant that year.
Despite not experiencing love at first sight – as Adam was still involved with his son’s mother, Eiri Munro – their initial meeting was facilitated by the tight-knit Strictly community.
Following Adam and Eiri’s split in August 2022, his bond with Holly began to deepen. By June 2023, they went public with their relationship, frequently sharing glimpses of their life together online.
Their love story quickly escalated, culminating in Adam popping the question during a romantic trip to Cornwall in September 2024.
