South African actress Mbalenhle Mavimbela celebrated her 29th birthday with a private yet elegant all-white themed party. She shared highlights from the event on social media on Wednesday, January 14.
Mavimbela, who held the dinner celebration in Durban, reposted videos from friends who honoured the invitation and wore all-white while she stunned in a bright yellow dress with feathers all over it, making her stand out.
The birthday celebration was attended by many familiar faces in the entertainment industry.
The guests included the controversial radio host Minnie Ntuli, TV presenter Palesa Tembe, singer Nkosazana Daughter, influencer Jessica Mashamba and Kgolo Mthembu, Annie Mthembu’s estranged husband.
In another video, she was seen at a club with her friends, still celebrating her birthday as she was dancing while holding a cake.
Mavimbela is known for her leading role as Hlomu on the popular Showmax telenovela “The Wife”.
She also appeared on multiple and popular soapies, including “Isiphetho – Destiny”, “Skeem Saam, “Durban Gen”, “Isibaya” and more.

Mavimbela shared that another reason why she ventured into the wine industry was that she saw that there aren’t as many young black females, and she took it upon herself to break into the market and close that gap.
Besides her wine brand as well as her acting career, the 29-year-old also started her own production company and decided to also venture into the music industry by being a music producer and DJ.
In the span of two years, she released multiple songs, with her latest single being self-titled, called “Weh Mbali”, which she always posts videos of either dancing to or lip-syncing to on social media.
Friends and fans wished her a happy birthday, which she reposted as well on her Instagram stories.
