Canadian actor Hudson Williams shot to fame thanks to his role as Shane Hollander in HBO series Heated Rivalry, but sadly for fans, it turns out he’s not actually single
Hudson Williams, known for his lead role in the Canadian sports romance series Heated Rivalry, confirmed details of his personal life in a Valentine’s Day post on his Instagram story that offered one of his clearest glimpses into his relationship with his longtime girlfriend.
In a February 14 post, Williams shared a collage of photos featuring a girl he has posted previously, which he described as his girlfriend. The set included two mirror selfies in which his arms are around her, and an overhead photo of the woman playfully lying on top of him in bed. Alongside the images he included a single red heart emoji and the message, “Happy Valentine’s Day.”
Williams, 25, did not disclose her name or other identifying details. However, in the caption he referenced their time together before his professional success, noting that she has been by his side through his early aspiring actor struggles. He wrote that she had been “with me since my 2000 gold Mazda Protege smoked and squealed and I had no job.”

The Valentine’s Day post also included a photo of his girlfriend seated next to his Heated Rivalry co-star Connor Storrie, who plays Ilya Rozanov, the on-screen rival and love interest of Williams’ character Shane Hollander. In that image, Williams drew a red heart around Storrie’s face.
Until now, Williams has generally kept his personal life private. In December he addressed speculation about a rumored relationship with a tattoo artist after the claim circulated online.
At the time, he wrote on Instagram — in a post that was later deleted — “You know what, I’ve grown quite unfond of you deuxmoi.”
Fans also noticed he unfollowed the woman who he has now confirmed to be his girlfriend, which followers speculated had to do with privacy.
Williams’ decision to post the Valentine’s Day collage comes amid significant public attention on his work and the chemistry he shares with Storrie in Heated Rivalry.
The show, which premiered in late November 2025, is based on a series of novels and follows two professional hockey players whose rivalry on the ice masks a long-term romantic relationship.
Heated Rivalry was created, written, and directed by Jacob Tierney and first aired on the Canadian streaming service Crave before being distributed internationally on platforms including HBO Max.
The series quickly became one of Crave’s most-watched originals and drew praise for its portrayal of queer romance, strong performances, and emotional depth.
The first season concluded in December 2025, and due to strong audience interest and streaming performance, Crave and HBO Max announced a second season is in development.
In interviews surrounding the show’s release and rise, Williams has previously emphasized the importance of privacy in his personal life.
In December he told Deadline that even as he dreamed of public success, he wanted “just a level of privacy.”
