Eminem shared exactly how he felt about President Donald Trump during his first-term as president a decade ago, and it seems he was the first to make a certain prediction about him
Now that President Donald Trump has launched a war against Iran, there’s growing fear that the United States is headed toward engaging in a nuclear war.
However, rapper Eminem, 53, speculated about this almost a decade ago when he blasted Trump, 79, during his first term as president from 2016 until 2020. In an unearthed clip from the 2017 BET Hip Hop Awards, the Superman rapper slammed the commander-in-chief’s Twitter (now known as X) habits, political policies, and world views through a 4-and-a-half minute freestyle rap he filmed in a Detroit, Michigan parking garage.
Eminem branded the POTUS, who was president at the time, as “a kamikaze who will probably cause a nuclear holocaust” before he called out Trump for repeatedly attacking NFL national anthem protests.

“But this is his form of distraction, plus he gets an enormous reaction when he attacks the NFL, so we focus on that instead of talking Puerto Rico or gun reform for Nevada. All these horrible tragedies and he’s bored and would rather cause a Twitter storm with the Packers,” Em said during his rap.
Later in his rap, he referred to former NFL star Colin Kaepernick, 38, who was credited with spearheading the anthem protests at NFL games throughout the late 2010s.
Also, Eminem shot down Trump’s plan for tax cuts that was revealed the year of his televised freestyle, questioning: “then who’s going to pay for his extravagant trips back and forth with his fam to his golf resorts and his mansions?”
Years after his freestyle, Eminem still seems to vehemently oppose Trump, even after fellow Michigan musician Ted Nugent called him and additional Trump critic Jack White “total idiots” for doing so.
Ted shamed Jack and Eminem for the Trump stance while he spoke on his Let’s Talk Music video on his YouTube channel earlier this year.
He first praised the two music stars for their Lions Thanksgiving halftime performance in 2025 before he came after them for their political views.
“Jack White, is that his name. The White Stripes. Is that his name? Anyhow, he was great,” Ted said of the Thanksgiving performance. “It wasn’t a 10 like Sammy Hagar or James Brown. Hagar, Brown, Steven Tyler, those are 10s. Angus Young, a 10. Billy Gibbons, a 10. White, he’s not a 10. He’s like a 4 and a 5, but he delivered real rock and roll.”
Ted continued: “Eminem and Jack White are total idiots. They don’t want their country to have secure borders. They think men should destroy women’s sports. That’s exactly what they stand for. When you hate Donald Trump, you want men in women’s sports to destroy women’s rights. That’s what these guys stand for. They don’t think our borders should be secure. They think we should invite jihadists in who announce they want to kill Americans and Jack White and Eminem say, ya, bring those guys in. Idiots. But they’re music is soulful.”
