According to TMZ, which was first to publish video of the purported attack, alleged victim Ronnie Taylor said the dispute started when Ritchson, 43, was “flying at excessive speed, revving his engine and disturbing the peace” in a “well-to-do” suburb of Nashville.

The argument escalated on Sunday when Ritchson allegedly sped through the neighbourbood again, this time with his two young children in tow.
Taylor told the outlet that he asked the father of three, “Can you f***ing stop this please?”
Ritchson allegedly exploded in anger, punching Taylor in the face and kicking him. The War Machine actor is accused of hitting Taylor “at least 4 times” while he was down and photos published by the website show the alleged victim with bruises.

Taylor says he told police Ritchson “punched him in the face and kicked him.”
In the video, which starts mid-fight and was shot from inside a neighbouring home, a person resembling Ritchson allegedly slugs another man four times as he crawls across a lawn.
As the victim recovers from the flurry of fists, Ritchson walks away and gets back on the bike, which he briefly loses control of.
Neighbour instigated fight?
As video of the brawl made the rounds on social media, sources close to the actor told TMZ that Ritchson was not the instigator.
Instead, witnesses accused Taylor of running out into the street in a “really aggressive” manner in an attempt to stop Ritchson from riding.
Insiders say that Ritchson ended up “falling off his motorcycle and suffering cuts and bruises, as well as a minor injury to his finger.”
The beatdown ensued after Taylor directly challenged Ritchson and “shoved Alan to the ground.”
Ritchson has been cooperating with police and insisted that Taylor “initiated and instigated” the squabble.

Law enforcement sources have confirmed to TMZ that they are investigating the incident, but no arrests have been made as of Monday morning.
Ritchson brings his family on the road while he films his projects, explaining to Men’s Health in March 2024 that his family sold their home to accompany him while he works.
“Being away from my family for long stretches on location was hard on them and me,” he said. “So … we now live in Airbnbs and hotels.”
That time Ritchson went into ‘instant Reacher mode’
While promoting Reacher back in 2024, Ritchson told eTalk in a video posted on TikTok that he went into “instant Reacher mode,” when his wife, Catherine Ritchson, noticed someone breaking into a car in Montreal.
In another interview with Jimmy Fallon, Ritchson said he chased down the robber when he was “on a date” with his wife.

“We’re in Old Montreal shooting a show and we got all dressed up, walking down the cobblestone streets … It’s beautiful outside. She sees feet dangling out of a window and she goes, ‘I think somebody’s breaking into that car.’ She spotted it before I did … This guy pulls out this car and he’s got four duffel bags full of stuff … we locked eyes as he passes and I was like … ‘I’m going to have to do something about this.’”
Ritchson — originally from Grand Forks, N.D., told the late-night host he chased the perpetrator for several blocks before he vanished around the corner.
“Like David Copperfield, he’s gone,” Ritchson said before revealing that he found the thief under car. “I go, ‘Just give it up, dude,’” he recalled before another pursuit ensued.
Ritchson said he eventually took the burglar “like a discus” and threw him into the side of a building.
“He just slides down like a cartoon character,” Ritchson said laughing. “The cops said this guy was the most prolific car burglar in Old Montreal and we finally got him … It was a wonderful day.”
