MANITOWOC (WLUK) — A preliminary hearing was postponed Friday for a Virginia man charged in a Manitowoc meth bust.

Karonn Hamilton, 30, faces a count of conspiracy to manufacture/deliver amphetamine.

His preliminary hearing was postponed to Jan. 8, while he continues to look for an attorney. Hamilton remains jailed on a $550,000 cash bond.

Hamilton, Andre Allen and Corven Jones were arrested Dec. 15 with what authorities said was $250,000 worth of meth.

Federal and local agents say they arrested the men with the help of a SWAT team. Investigators determined two of the men had loaded guns — one of which was determined to have been stolen from Virginia. Investigators also found more than 25 pounds of meth.
