WATERTOWN — Trevor J. Stanton, 25, with no listed address, was charged by city police March 27 with second-degree menacing and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a felony.
According to police records, Stanton allegedly possessed a pocketknife with the intent to unlawfully use it against another person and was previously convicted of second-degree criminal contempt in January 2023.
Police further allege that Stanton displayed a pocketknife and chased after the victim while they were attempting to leave.
Stanton was processed and held pending arraignment in CAP Court.
Gia Rheinel A. Duque, 32, of William Street in Watertown, was charged by city police on Monday with third-degree falsely reporting an incident.
According to police records, Duque allegedly reported an emergency incident was occurring which would result in public alarm that did not happen.
Duque was processed and released with an appearance ticket answerable in City Court.
Rachel A. James, 24, of Cardinal Court in Ashland, Ohio, was charged by city police on Monday with second-degree criminal contempt, two counts of second-degree criminal trespass, second-degree harassment, and first-degree criminal contempt, a felony.
According to police records, James allegedly violated a stay away and refrain from order of protection by entering the protected party’s apartment and unlawfully remained without permission or a right to do so.
Police further allege that James slapped the victim in the face during a domestic incident, further violating the stay away and refrain from order of protection. Police also allege that James sent numerous text messages to the protected party after leaving their residence.
James was transported to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building, processed, and held pending arraignment in CAP Court.
