WATERTOWN — Hermes D. Gil, 41, of California Avenue in Watertown, was charged by city police on Monday with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of criminal possession of a firearm, a felony, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle and unsafe turn.
According to police records, Gil allegedly possessed a blue container with a screw lid in his front jacket pocket containing a white powdery substance that tested positive for cocaine.
