TUPELO – A north Tupelo man admitted to police he robbed a convenience store less than a mile from his house and stabbed the clerk with a set of nail clippers.
Tupelo police were dispatched to the Breeze-N convenience store at 1725 North Gloster Street at 7:52 a.m. on Jan. 3 for a reported armed robbery. Witnesses said a Black male entered the store wearing a hoodie and immediately covered his face with a ski mask. The suspect demanded money from the cash register.
