In December 2025, the total production index in Services of the business economy decreased by 3.1% compared to the previous month, according to preliminary and seasonally adjusted data released by the National Statistical Institute on Friday. Compared to December 2024, a rise of 5.6% was registered in the calendar-adjusted index.
Last year began with a 3% increase in business services production on a monthly basis. An increase of 7.6% was recorded compared to January 2024.

The Accommodation and food service activities sector saw a 3.2% increase.

A 10.5% increase, compared to the same month of the previous year, was reported in the sector Administrative and support service activities; a 9.2% increase was reported in Information and communication; a 9% increase was reported in Professional, scientific and technical activities; a 7.5% increase was reported in Accommodation and food service activities; a 0.3% increase was reported in Transportation and storage.
