The IHF has published new research ahead of the event that shows 92pc of hoteliers are worried about the outlook for the global economy, with political uncertainty in key markets cited as a risk.
Seventy-six per cent said they are concerned about the Irish economy over the next 12 months as consumer finances remain under pressure, it said.
Despite that, 51pc reported a positive outlook for trading conditions for the year ahead, while 36pc were neutral and 13pc reported a negative view.
The sector is coming off a solid year. National room occupancy averaged 76pc last year, up 1pc on 2024.
However, regional gaps remain evident, with occupancy ranging from 70pc in the border region to 83pc in Dublin.

Alongside the conference, today the Central Statistics Office (CSO) will publish the Wholesale Price Index for last month and a Growing Up in Ireland report examining how childhood influences education and finances at age 25.
Corporate earnings pick up tomorrow, when Dublin-listed healthcare group Uniphar reports results for last year.
Wednesday is set to be the busiest day of the week for markets. Drinks giant Diageo posts second-quarter figures, while food producers Dole plc and Glanbia release full-year numbers. HSBC Holdings plc also reports fourth-quarter earnings.
The CSO will release its Production in Building and Construction Index for the fourth quarter of last year, giving an update on activity levels across the sector.
Also on Wednesday, Ministers James Lawless and Helen McEntee will announce the winners of the Research Ireland – Defence Innovation Challenge at the Central Bank in Dublin.
The programme, which is run in partnership with the Department of Defence and the Defence Forces, aims to link researchers with the military to develop new technologies and build capacity.
On Thursday, gambling group Flutter Entertainment is to report its full-year results.
Finally, the advertising industry will mark a milestone as the Association of Advertisers in Ireland celebrates its 75th anniversary on Thursday, with senior figures from McDonald’s and the World Federation of Advertisers due to address members.
