Market Update: Dale Strong: President Trump brought business back to U.S. – now ‘our economy is absolutely thriving’ – Full Analysis

U.S. Rep. Dale Strong (R-Huntsville) believes the American economy will continue to surge this year because of the policies enacted by President Donald Trump and the Republican Party.

During his State of the Union address Wednesday, the President highlighted how lower taxes, deregulation, deporting illegal immigrants, and tariffs will help the economy grow in the coming months.

Strong defended the policies Thursday on WVNN’s “The Dale Jackson Show.”

“We’ve still got a ways to go,” Strong said. “The big thing that we’ve got to do is the decisions that’s been made in the last 12 months are just now fixin’ to hit the back pockets of the American people. So second quarter, we’re fixin’ to roll.”

The congressman explained the different sectors of the economy where things are already improving.

“You look at it, interest rates are coming down,” Strong said . “That’s where America is fixin’ to build, that next generation is fixin’ to be able to realize their dream. Let’s get back to residential home construction so people can own their own home. You think about it, wood prices, back to pre-covid. You look at wall board prices, pre-covid, we’re fixin’ to see a boom here. I think second quarter is going to be big.”

Strong said North Alabama will definitely benefit from the decisions by the Trump administration.

“You look at Space Command gold and dome coming to our area,” he explained, “Our economy is absolutely thriving, and it’s because what Donald Trump has done bringing business back to America. Look at Eli Lilly, a $6 billion investment here in North Alabama. We’re fixin’ to see some of our finest hours, and it’s because of Republican leadership. Now let’s pay this debt down and keep the tariff rolling — America will be better.”
