Abhishek Bachchan breaks silence on divorce rumours with Aishwarya, reveals Aaradhya’s reaction to online gossip

The actor married to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for over 18 years knows that the internet often makes noise mostly about their divorce. “She doesn’t believe everything online”

Abhishek revealed that Aaradhya, despite being a star kid, is not interested in the gossip that floats around social media.

He shared, “I don’t think Aaradhya sits and reads these things. That’s not what she cares about, and she doesn’t believe anything she sees online. Her mother has taught her that not everything you read on the internet is true.”

The actor then explained that honesty is a big rule in their household. Just like his parents Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan were open with him, he and Aishwarya follow the same path.

“We are completely honest in the family. There is never a reason for anyone to doubt anyone,” he said.

No phone, no pressure

In a surprising revelation, Abhishek shared that Aaradhya, now 14, still doesn’t have a phone.

“She doesn’t use a phone,” he said with a smile. “If her friends want to talk to her, they call her mother’s phone. This is something we decided long ago.”

Aishwarya’s strong impact on Aaradhya

Abhishek didn’t shy away from giving credit where it was due. He praised Aishwarya for shaping their daughter’s understanding of the film world.

“Aishwarya has taught her to respect the film industry and the work we do,” he said. “She tells Aaradhya that we are who we are today because of the love we get from the audience and our films.”

According to Abhishek, Aaradhya is growing into a confident teenager with her own thoughts and a clear personality.

“She has her own opinions. She’s very sure of herself,” he added. “We discuss her views privately, and she expresses everything beautifully.”

On the work front, Abhishek was last seen in Shoojit Sircar’s ‘I Want To Talk’, where critics praised his sincere performance. The actor is now preparing for a major shift playing a negative role in ‘King’, a big-scale entertainer headlined by Shah Rukh Khan.
