In the past few months, Bláthnaid Treacy has been adjusting to life as a family of four.

The 2FM presenter and her husband, Charlie Moon, welcomed their second child, a baby boy named Jack, to the world in November 2025.

The couple are already parents to an almost three-year-old daughter, Nancy, who is no doubt settling into life as a big sister well, but when Jack gets older, they’re going to need more room to play.

Bláthnaid and Charlie were ‘lucky enough’ to have bought their first home together during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, but now they’ve outgrown the space and are on to bigger and better things.

The mum-of-two shared the news on Tuesday, telling her followers that they’re moving away from Dublin to her native Wicklow.

‘We decided about six months ago that we were going to have to move when baby number two arrived,’ Bláthnaid began.

‘We’re not moving for another few months, so we are soaking up Stoneybatter while we’re still here,’ she continued to tell her followers.

The couple have lived in their Dublin home for over 13 years, renting the place before they purchased it, but now Bláthnaid has admitted it’s ‘changed so much’ in recent times.

‘We were lucky enough to buy our house in 2020, and we put everything into this place,’ she said. ‘We love it so much, but it’s not fit for purpose anymore, unfortunately. We’re literally bursting at the seams.’

‘We’re Wicklow bound, back closer to family and the sea – the thing I’ve missed the most having grown up next to it,’ Bláthnaid said, excited for her family’s next chapter.

‘For now, we’re enjoying our little D7 home, but I’m flat out with the Pinterest boards.

We can’t wait to see what Bláthnaid and Charlie do with the new place!
