Bonnie Ryan’s family is very tight-knit; you can tell by their reaction to her pregnancy news.

Though she now lives in the US, Bonnie wants nothing more than to be surrounded by her family as much as possible, and of course, her wedding day was no different.

That being said, there was one special little face that was missing from her big day, but for good reason!

Reminiscing on her October 2022 wedding, a lavish occasion on which she married her childhood sweetheart, John Greenhalgh, in Italy, Bonnie told her sister, Lottie: ‘So, we said to people, “No kids” because it’s not an appropriate setting when you’re abroad at a wedding.’

‘At my venue, we had a bar and a pool, and I just thought it wouldn’t be safe for kids. It’s a dangerous area for children. If the adults are partying or whatever, they wouldn’t be able to take their eyes off them.’

Bonnie was very understanding of the fact that people paid ‘a lot of money’ to travel to Italy, probably with the intention of making it ‘into a family holiday’.

But the 33-year-old wasn’t backing down from her stance, and told of how she didn’t even allow Lottie’s son, Wolf, her own godson, to attend the wedding.

‘Like, I know Wolf still came to Italy, but you guys got a minder because I said, “He still can’t come to the actual wedding”, he was only a tiny little tot,’ Bonnie said

Lottie jested: ‘Yes, your own godchild was not invited to your wedding; you banned your godchild.’

In her defence, Bonnie reminded Lottie: ‘I literally stopped the procession of my wedding, because the car passed the house that Wolf was in, and I got out and gave him a big hug, and we got pictures.

‘So, he did see me on my wedding day.’

The influencer later noted that ‘people were obviously very put out by the no kids thing’.
